Sveti Tomaž is a settlement and municipality in northeastern Slovenia. It lies in the Prlekija hills and was until 2006 part of the Ormož municipality. The area traditionally belonged to the region of Styria. It is now included in the Podravska statistical region. Between 1955 and 1993 its official name was Tomaž pri Ormožu.[2]
The settlement gets its name from the local parish church, dedicated to Saint Thomas. It belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor. It was built between 1715 and 1727.[3]
